Japan’s Super Doctors

The level of medical care in Japan is among the highest in the world in various fields, as evidenced by recently published papers on postoperative survival rates for cancer and survival rates after stroke.
The country is also home to many world-renowned doctors, and because some surgeries cannot be performed overseas, an increasing number of people from Europe and the United States have recently been visiting Japan for treatment of their illnesses.
